Prosthodontist
Dr Rachael Hogen-Esch
Rachael is the founder of Southwest Dental Specialist Centre. She is a graduate of the University of Adelaide and continued her post graduate training at the University of Sydney. Rachael is actively involved in education having taught the dental students at the University of Sydney and has been involved in multiple events run by the Australian Prosthodontic Society, the International Team for Implantology and the Royal Flying Doctors.
Rachael spent her formative years in Mandurah and Perth before moving to Adelaide to pursue her dental training. She is a proud foundation student of Frederick Irwin Anglican School. Outside of dentistry, Rachael enjoys playing netball and water polo and spending the summers crabbing on the water.

Dr Andrew Savundra
Andrew is an orthodontist in private practice in Western Australia with clinics in South Perth, and Willetton and will be starting a clinic in Mandurah at the new South West Dental Specialist Centre.
He is a dental graduate of the University of Western Australia and went on to do his post graduate training in orthodontics at the University of Adelaide. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and a Member in Orthodontics of the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh. He is a Senior Lecturer and Tutor at University of Western Australia teaching the post graduate orthodontic students in the Tip-Edge Appliance and also Volunteers in East Timor on a regular basis as part of the Timor-Leste Cleft Lip and Palate programme. He is a past president of the Dental Study Group of Western Australia and Australasian Begg Society of Orthodontists.
Outside work he is a keen fisherman and says he did orthodontics so he could bend up his own wire traces for Mackeral fishing in the states north-west. He enjoys the outdoors with his wife and family of 3 children.
